Our developers are currently investigating the support of the Windows8 operating system. Apparently Adobe has made it possible for the AIR runtime platform to work with Windows8 for 64-bit machines. However AIR will not run on the Windows8 ModernUI.
More details to come. As for support for tablets we have slated this for Release 3.0.
